The XI Program Board Meeting under the Russian Centers for Advanced Studies and Education Program will be held on October 23, 2003 in Washington DC, USA. During the Meeting the issues concerning the new grant component introduction, changes in the financing procedures of the CASEs current grants and other administrative issues will be discussed.

Special attention will be given to the issues of attracting the young specialists to the CASEs activity, reinforcement of applied directions of academic research and transformation the research activity results into the educational process.
