This year the conference focused on contemporary studies of social, economic, political and cultural changes that are currently taking place in Russia and CIS, as well as in Eastern and Central Europe. Leading experts from all over the world shared their knowledge with the audience.

Four Russian CASEs, namely, Far East, Irkutsk, Novgorod and Saratov, were introduced to the conference participants. The Book Fair section presented publications by CASEs and the ISE Center (Information. Scholarship. Education.).
