INTAS (the International Association for the promotion of cooperation with scientists from the New Independent States(NIS) of the former Soviet Union) has launched one open call, four collaborative calls, as well as a call for young NIS scientist fellowships and for innovation grants on 7 March 2003 with up to Euro 25.2 million available for international scientific research. The following calls provide funding possibilities for research in economic, social and human sciences:

INTAS OPEN Call 2003: INTAS welcomes proposals for research projects and networks related to all scientific fields, both fundamental and applied research.

INTAS  Belarus Call2003: INTAS welcomes proposals in all areas of science, both fundamental and applied research.

The deadline for submission of the above-mentioned Calls is 13 June 2003.

Call for Young NIS Scientist Fellowships 2003: Open to NIS PhD students and post-doctoral fellows of 35 years of age or less from all scientific fields.

Call for Innovation Grants 2003: Open to participants of INTAS-funded projects in all scientific fields.

The deadline for submission of the two latter Calls is 11 July 2003.
